Following the release of ‘Animal,’ Triptii Dimri’s popularity has soared, turning her into an overnight national crush. While she faced some criticism for her performance in the movie, fans praised her innocence and appearance. The on-screen chemistry between Triptii and Ranbir Kapoor has particularly captivated audiences, making them an adored pair.
A viral video from the promotions of ‘Animal’ showed Triptii appearing nervous yet stealing glances at Ranbir, sparking speculation about a potential connection between them if Ranbir were not married. Addressing this, Triptii explained in an interview with Sidharth Kannan that during a cast photoshoot at a screening, Ranbir was talking to someone right in front of her, leading her to glance in his direction naturally.
“If someone is talking to someone right in front of me, obviously you will look at the person,” Triptii remarked, dispelling any romantic speculation. She revealed that her father even called her after seeing the video, questioning whether her nervousness was apparent due to her rubbing her hands.
In a previous conversation with ETimes, Triptii had shared that Shah Rukh Khan was her first crush, and Ranbir Kapoor became her second. Praising Ranbir not only for his acting prowess but also for his kindness as a person, Triptii expressed gratitude for meeting her idol. Despite feeling nervous working with Ranbir, she noted his efforts to make her comfortable, further deepening her admiration for him.
