Ghaziabad: Gazab Ghaziabad, the newest entrant in the Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL), has announced actor Tusshar Kapoor as its Co-owner, marking a major boost to the franchise ahead of its debut season. The team, owned by Lakhsya Sharma and Deepak Singh, aims to strengthen its foundation with a recognised public figure joining its leadership.
Tusshar Kapoor joins to promote homegrown sport
Tusshar’s involvement stems from his interest in supporting indigenous sports and contributing to the rapid growth of the kabaddi ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh. His presence is expected to bring industry insights and credibility as the team prepares for Season 2 of UPKL. UPKL gears up for Season 2
UPKL, operated by SJ Uplift Kabaddi, has rapidly positioned itself as one of India’s strongest state-level kabaddi leagues. Season 2 will take place at the Noida Indoor Stadium and will be supported by a multi-year broadcast partnership with ZEE Sports. The league is scheduled to begin on 24 December 2025, with Gazab Ghaziabad making its much-anticipated debut under strengthened leadership.
