Chennai: The much-awaited collaboration between actor Vijay Sethupathi and director Puri Jagannadh is finally gearing up for action. The film’s production team has officially announced that principal photography will commence in the first week of July, slightly delayed from the earlier plan of a late-June start.

The initial schedule will kick off with Vijay Sethupathi and other key cast members actively participating from day one. Expectations are soaring for this big-budget, pan-Indian project, which has already generated significant buzz among movie lovers and fans alike.

Produced by Puri Connects, the film is backed by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur, with JB Motion Pictures and JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla also on board. Their partnership is expected to further elevate the visual scale and production values of this high-octane entertainer.

Samyuktha stars opposite Vijay Sethupathi in a role described as emotionally rich and performance-driven. Sources say the actress is enthusiastic about the storyline and her part in the film. Veteran actress Tabu and Vijay Kumar will also play pivotal roles.

Recently, the production team wrapped up an extensive location hunt in Hyderabad and Chennai, finalizing spots for the first leg of the shoot.

With a unique blend of mass appeal and strong storytelling, the film will release in five languages—Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi—positioning itself as a true pan-India cinematic event.
