Mumbai: The decision of the Union Home Ministry to extend Y-plus security to Bollywood star Kagana Ranaut has not gone down well with many.
The latest to question the same is actor Kubbra Sait of The Sacred Games fame
Taking to her Twitter handle, Kubbra Sait, who was recently blocked by Kangana wrote, ‘Just checking, is it going out my taxes?’
After engaging in a war of words with Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut and after comparing Mumbai to POK, Kangana had asked for security, citing threat to her life.
Condemning her statement, Raut had stated that he will not let her set foot in Maharashtra, to which Kangana too had challeged him to stop her if he can as she is all set to enter Mumbai on Sept 9.
After the union Home Ministry granted her Y-plus protection, she took to her social micro-blogging site and wrote: “This proves that a patriot’s voice cannot be crushed by fascists. I am grateful to Amit Shah, if he wanted, he could have advised me to go to Mumbai after a few days but he respected a daughter of India, protected her pride and self-respect. Jai Hind.’
