Mangaluru: Community Radio Sarang 107.8 FM and the Department of Kannada, St. Aloysius College (Autonomous, Mangaluru jointly organized an intercollegiate ‘Yuva Kavi Goshti’ on 7th September 2019 in the Robert Sequeira Hall.
Eminent Writer, Smt. Chandrakala Nandavara and Konkani Writer Sri Wilson Sequeira were the guests. Principal, Rev. Dr. Praveen Martis, SJ inaugurated the programme. Students from 21 colleges around Dakshina Kannada participated in this programme. Kavya A.R., a student of Mangalore University secured the I Place. Abhyudaya from SDM College secured II Place and Abhishek P.A. secured the III Place.
The Director of Radio Sarang, Rev. Dr. Melwyn Pinto, SJ addressed the gathering. Dr. Saraswathi Kumari, HOD of Kannada welcomed the gathering and Tejasvini compered the programme.
