Mangaluru: St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, in association with the Tailwind institute of aviation, organised a talk on aviation on January 16.
Assistant Professor of Tourism, Mangalore University and chief guest of the event, Joseph D.C. briefed the gathering about the career opportunities in aviation.
“In aviation, we need people to work. It is a service and cannot be replaced by machines”.
Principal of the college and president of the event Dr Sr Jeswina A.C., addressed the gathering and motivated the students joined the aviation programme.
Freelance Corporate Softskills trainer, consultant and guest of honour, Dawin Prakash spoke about the ample placement opportunities and the qualities and skills that aviation training provides.
Maria Pawar, aviation training and development specialist shared her life experience in aviation.
Priya Medappa convened the function. Joshwita Veigas, a fellow student of the aviation programme, compeered the programme. Leone, a student of the aviation programme concluded delivered the vote of thanks. Rishel D’Souza invoked God’s blessings with a prayer song.
Vice Principal of St Agnes College Sr Dr M Venissa A.C. and founder of Tailwind Institute, Sandhya Nair were also present.
