Mangaluru: The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, in collaboration with the IEEE Computer Society Bangalore Chapter announces the successful inauguration of the 2nd International Conference on Data, Decision and Systems (ICDDS’23) on 1 Dec at NITK Surathkal campus.
The conference was inaugurated by Nita Patel, the esteemed President of the IEEE Computer Society for the year 2023. Dr Prasant Misra, Chairperson of the IEEE Computer Society Bangalore Chapter, graced the occasion as the guest of honor. The inaugural function was presided over by Prof. Dwarakish G S, Dean Academic, NITK Surathkal.
ICDDS’23 aims to foster innovation in data-based technologies across various disciplines. It provides a platform for researchers, engineers, and experts from academia, industry, and start-ups to present their latest innovations in Data/Decision Systems (DDS) and their applications. The conference will comprehensively cover all aspects of data and decision science, applications, solution design, and system challenges, ranging from theory to applied research.
The two-day conference, scheduled for December 1-2, 2023, promises to be a platform for stimulating discussions and exchange of innovative ideas.
It includes three workshops: “Smart City Stack and Devops” by IUDX, FSID, IISc Bangalore, “Decision Support System for Aircraft Predictive Maintenance” by Boeing India, and “GIRLGEEKHACK’23 – Mangalore SS“. The latter, presented by IEEE NITK Computer Society in collaboration with IEEE Computer Society Bangalore Chapter, is a 48-hour hackathon with the theme “Remote Work and Digital Collaboration”.
