Alumni Association gifts 200 chairs to Govt FC College Byndoor

Byndoor: The members and Managing Committee members of the registered Alumni Association handed over the 200 chairs in the recently concluded program at Government First Grade College, Byndoor. Praveenchandra Shetty, President of the Alumni Association, Muthaiah Poojari, Vice-President, L Harish Sherigar, Secretary and Shashidhara Hebbar, Joint Secretary, CA N Ramananda Prabhu, Honorary president Alumni Association were present during the program. CA Vasanth Shanbhague and CA Akshatha Shanbhague, resource persons of the Udupi Branch of ICAI  were present during the program.

Alumni Association also organized a career counselling program at the college in association with the Udupi Branch of ICAI, resource persons CA Vasanth Shanbhague and CA Akshatha Shanbhague explained to the students various options and guidance and future career prospectus of the professional opportunities of chartered accountancy course in the industry, consulting and international arena.

Praveen Kumar Shetty, while addressing the students that today we should all inculcate the intention to give back to society, as part of gratitude, as we are all accounting students, the rhythm of life is when you breathe in, we have to breathe out, the same way we at old students association committed to college development and respond to the requests at all times. Muthaiah Poojary also echoed Shetty’s view and is also the front runner when it comes to supporting all the college activities and he has passion and deep affection towards the college.

CA N Ramanada Prabhu while addressing students thanked the Chairman and managing committee members of the Udupi Branch of ICAI and special thanks to CA Vasanth Shanbhague and CA Akshatha Shanbhague for their sparring valued time and gave presentations to the students and looking forward to continuous support and guidance to the students of Byndoor college.

Dr Raghu Niaka, Principal Govt. First Grade College Byndoor, after receiving the 200 chairs from the President and managing committee members of the alumni association, thanked all the members of the old student association for accommodating their request and spontaneous support for the needs of the college and looking forward towards the continuous patronage to the college, being part and parcel of the college development activities.

Principal Dr Raghu Naika in his presidential address said that the role of the alumni association is very important in the progress of any organization. “One should not forget the institution which has played a vital role in shaping up one’s future and giving back to institution and support our college helps in building a strong bond,” he said.

Alumni Association gifts 200 chairs to Govt FC College ByndoorDr Raghu Naika also congratulated CA Prabhu for having received the “Kannada Rajyostava-Udupi District Award” and told that we are all proud of his achievement and that our students will be motivated and inspired by this prestigious award from the government of Karnataka for our college old student of 1990 batch. He will be the role model and guiding force for our college students and generation next. Dr Naika applauded CA Prabhu’s initiative, interest, involvement, leadership and mentorship role being honorary President of the Alumni association to set up and registered the alumni association of our college.

L Harish Sherigar proposed the vote of thanks for all the alumni association members who generously contributed towards the donation of chairs to the college and request more and more old students to become members of the association and support the college activities going forward.
