Mangaluru: Red Ribbon Club in collaboration with Department of Medical Surgical Nursing, Gender Sensitization Cell, Department of Community Health Nursing and Youth Red Cross, Yenepoya Nursing College organized World AIDS Day awareness camp from 20 to 22 November 2023 at Spandana Trust Mangaluru on “Prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infection” and 750 people benefited of it.
A placard competition was held on 27 Nov and 6 groups students participated. Intercollegiate Quiz competion was held on 28 Nov and 18 groups of students all over Mangaluru participated. A mime competition was held on 29 Nov and 8 teams participated. A poster competion was held on 30 Nov and 24 groups of students were participated.
On 1 Dec in collaboration with District AIDS Control and Prevention Unit conducted AIDS Day Walkathon from Aloysius college to SDM college Mangaluru at 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Forty five students of Red Ribbon Club and 4 faculty participated in rally, after which there was an AIDS Day Program in Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences at 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
