Father Muller nursing students hold Christmas programme for Cheshire home inmates

Mangaluru: The Alumni Association and Department of Community Health Nursing, Father Muller College of Nursing organised a Christmas programme at the Cheshire Home, Kankanady, along with the students of fourth year B.sc (n) students on December 14 at 10 AM. The programme was conducted for the 25 inmates at the home.

The programme began with a prayer dance by the fourth year B.sc (n) students. They also staged a tableau titled “Birth of Jesus”. Various games were conducted for the inmates and the winners were awarded prizes.

Department of Community Health Nursing HOD Irene Alvares welcomed the gathering. Executive member of the alumni association Sharlet D’Souza gave a Christmas message. Preethy Fernandes, Assistant Professor, Father Muller college of nursing delivered the vote of thanks.

Cheshire Home president Wilma Aranha, Superior of St Vincent Home Sr Magdaline, Father Muller College of Nursing vice-principal Prof. Victoria D’Almeida, Executive members of the Alumni Association, H.O.D and staff of the Department of Community Health Nursing were present.
