We adopt innovative teaching methods that are decided at the beginning of the year so that teachers have ample time to prepare themselves to deliver their best. The feedback at the end of introducing a new teaching methodology is taken from the students that have taken into consideration in further accepting, adopting, refining or rejecting the specific teaching methodology to learn a particular subject matter. All that facilitated a great impact right from the time of sessional examinations to excel in academics. The collaborative efforts by all the faculties have brought about this result. The regular parent-teachers meet has borne fruit too. Regular updates of the student’s academic and wellbeing are discussed at length in such meets. This allows for the growth of the student and the institution too.

Dr. Devina said that the remedial teaching methods opened up a door for the slow learners to have a steady improvement in their unit tests and confidence further increased in writing organized way answers in the sessional examinations. The skill workshops, simulation lab, Experiential learning, practical oriented teaching, field visits, community service, small group teaching, quiz, concentrate approach to find solutions to real clinical issues and UG research and publications moreover, the students are advised to look upon available to E-resources at the library and learn about the topics have made the students to study at their comfortable pace and actively contribute to the classroom sessions, all these aspects have made a huge change in academic results. The advance and slow learners were recognized by pre-determined criteria and advanced learners are deputed to participate in workshops and conferences and also peer group teachings, Co-operative learning is assigned through advanced learners that have helped the students to actively involved in learning. In the clinical areas, the students have been supervised by the teachers in a small group, each teacher having 8 to 10 students made them learn clinical skills and face the practical examinations with greater confidence.
