Mangaluru: A day-long inter-collegiate fest, ‘KIMS KALRAV 2K 17’ was organised by the Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences on August 24.
Students of several colleges participated at the event held in the Kanachur Auditorium.
The event was inaugurated by Professor Ravishankar Department of English, Mangaluru University. Founder of Kanachur Islamic Education Trust and Kanachur Group Haji U K Monu presided over the event. Principal Professor Iqbal Ahamed UT welcomed the guests and dignatories.
In his inaugural message, Professor Ravishankar said that students should realize the importance of taking part in the competitions. “Winning or losing in a competition is a common thing but we should continue our efforts. Only then victory will be permanent in the future. It should be our ideology,” he stated.
Principal Professor Iqbal Ahamed UT, Pre-University College Principal Hemalatha, Kanachur Public School Principal Vinitha Mathias, Kanachur Primary School Principal Anandi, Principal of Pre-School Lynette D’ Souza were present.
