Deralakatte: Kanachur college celebrated 67th Republic Day on 26th January.
Institution head U K Monu after hoisting the flag, addressed the gathering and hailed the contribution of freedom fighters.
Kanachur Medical College principal Dr Khaza Nasiruddin, Kanachur Academy of General Education, vice principal Dr Arunachalam Kumar, Dr Deviprasad, Dr Rohan Monis were present.
Kanachur school principal Ramachandra Bhat welcomed the gathering. Rukiya Safnaz, Third Bcom spoke on the importance of Republic Day.
School leader Neeha Mithal compered the programme. College principal U T Iqbal rendered vote of thanks.
Later sweets were distributed to the children.
Convenor Abdul Rahiman, principals U T Iqbal, Ramachandra Bhat and Anandi K, Hemalatha and primary school headmistress Linet D’souza were also present.
