Leo Club installed at St Aloysius Industrial Training Institute

Mangaluru: Leo Club was installed at the St Aloysius Industrial Training Institute. Leo Bavish Poojari hosted the day and kickstarted the event. The program was presided by Lion Sheena Poojari President of Lions Club Mangalore. The installation officer was Leo Lion Kavan Kubeyvoor, Mjf Multiple GLT coordinator, MD 317 and IPDLP District 3173. Leo Dr Ranjita shetty District Leo President and Principal of St Aloysius ITI Roshan Dsouza were the Guests of honour. The program was blessed by Director of St Aloysius ITI Rev. Fr John Dsouza SJ.

Queenson Decosta District vice President was present.

Leo Privisha Shainy Dsouza excorted the dignitaries to the Dias. Past Leo President Leo Staron called the meeting to order. Leo Aflal and team conducted the prayer service, followed by the Leo flag salutation led by Lion Narayan Sir.

The Leo pledge was read out by Leo Shashank N. Past Leo President Leo Staron welcomed the gathering by offering them a flower. Later Leo Abdul Waris introduced the new President to the gathering following that Leo Privisha introduced the installing officer. Then came the most waited movement.

Leo Lion Kavan Kubeyvoor Mjf addressed the gathering and told Leo’s their duties to follow as Leo’s and he told Leo’s the importance of leading a helping hand and not do with selfish motive by accepting something with return. And appreciate the club and encouraged everyone to do more good deeds. He then moved to the installation ceremony and called up the Leo board of directors.

After explaining their duties he said them to agree their duties by raising their right hand. Next he called the social media incharge of the club Leo Renal, Leadership chairperson Leo Danish and the coordinator for the service Leo Varun lobo and explained them their duties and told them to raise their right and sign of agreement.

Next he called forward the vice President Leo Ankit and explained his duties and told him to raise his right hand forward .

Following that he called forward Treasurer Leo Privisha Shainy Dsouza and Joint Treasurer Leo Mahesh and he explained their duties as treasurer and told them to raise their right hand as the agreement of their position

Next he called Secretary Leo Winston Dsouza and Joint Secretary Leo Daksh P Shetty forward and explained them the their duties and said them to rise their right hand as a agreement and at the end he called the President and told him his duties as president and how he should encourage their club members as a leader. He said him to rise his right hand as a agreement.

Next the new PST were called upon the dais and the past PST exchanged their pins with the new PST and the new Leo Team along with the dignitaries lit the diya as a sign of new beginning.

The new President gave his acceptance speech following that the past President gave his outgoing speech to the gathering.

Then felicitation ceremony was held in the institution. Club Leo Advisor Lion Wilson N sir conducted the ceremony. There we felicitated Leo Lion Kavan Kubevoor mjf , Leo Ranjitha Shetty, Lion Sheena Pujary, and Roshan Dsouza Sir and Rev. Fr John Dsouza SJ for their support, hard work and their kindness.

Director of SAITI Rev Fr John Dsouza SJ, following that President Lions club Mangalore Lion Sheena Pujary, Dist. Leo President Leo Dr Ranjitha Shetty and Principal of SAITI Roshan Dsouza addressed the gathering. They congratulated the new team and promised to support them in every way they can and told them their responsibilities.

Secretary Leo Winston Dsouza proposed the vote of thanks and thanked everyone for their hard work and support. We thanked the dignitaries by giving momentoes as a sign of gratitude.

As a sign of our respect to our nation we ended the program by singing the national anthem.
