Mangaluru: In a significant step towards making IVF treatments more accessible and cost-effective, SAR Healthline, a leading name in IVF technology, and the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) have announced their collaboration.

This partnership, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), leverages the expertise of MAHE’s Centre of Excellence in Clinical Embryology at KMC Manipal. This partnership marks a significant milestone in making advanced healthcare treatments like IVF more accessible and affordable, reflecting the commitment of both institutions to healthcare innovation and societal well-being.

Pro Vice Chancellor of MAHE, Dr Sharath Rao, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership “We are pleased to join hands with SAR Healthline. Our goal is to create high-quality, local products to reduce the cost of IVF treatments significantly. We believe in strengthening local healthcare capacities to offer affordable healthcare solutions.

Dr Satish Adiga, who leads the team at the Centre of Excellence in Clinical Embryology, shared his optimism: “Our collaboration with SAR Healthline is a promising step towards introducing top-quality IVF products backed by our research. In the coming years, we anticipate unveiling innovative products and protocols that will benefit those undergoing IVF treatments.”

Sunny Ephram, Director of SAR Healthline, also commented on the partnership: “We are inspired by Manipal’s commitment to this noble cause. This collaboration with the embryology centre is something we look forward to maintaining and growing over the years.” The event also saw the presence of other esteemed personalities including Dr Padmaraj Hegde, Dean of KMC, Dr Guruprasad Kalthur, Head of Reproductive Science, and Anup Sreedharan, Managing Director of SAR Healthline.
