Mangalore University to organize ‘Crossroads2K17’ on April 6, 7

Mangaluru: ‘Crossroads2K17’, a national level management festival, organized under the aegis of the Department of Business Administration of Mangalore University will witness students from different educational institutions from across India battle to be the best amongst the bests.

The festival which began in 1994 has been getting bigger and better year on year and continuing this legacy forward this year the festival will be held on April 6,7 at Mangala Auditorium, Mangalore University, Konaje here. Around twenty five teams are expected to participate in the mega event.

Crossroads is celebrated with a theme to inspire students and motivate them towards betterment by boosting their personality and enhance their professionalism. Crossroads aims to promote a spirit of competition and rivalry besides providing real time experience for tomorrow’s budding managers to hone their skills. The fittest survives, the best wins, however, everyone learns in one way or other. Crossroads2k17 is themed “TVARAN- there are no shortcuts to success”. The word “TVARAN” has its root from Sanskrit language which means acceleration.

The organizing committee of the festival comprises of Dr. T Mallikarjunapp, Chairman, Department of Business Administration, Mangalore University; Dr. Puttanna K, staff adviser, student coordinators Roshan Paudel and Rakesh Bangera ; Karthik Das, Secretary, Management Assosciation of students of the department of Business Administration, Mangalore University.

Crossroads2K17 will comprise of five events as below:

• Invoker – Invoker is the best manager event. Pradeep Pahari is the coordinator of this event.

• Alchemist- Alchemist is the finance event . Sushmita Baidhya is the coordinator of the event.

• Inigma – Inigma is the HR event. The coordinator is Isha Regmi.

• Ezalone – Ezalone is the marketing event. The coordinator is Ashwath.

• Omni Knights – Omni Knights is the Business quiz event. Suraj Prakash is the coordinator.
