Mangaluru: More than 805 people have been vaccinated at the free Covid -19 vaccination camp for students and teachers at the University College Mangaluru on Monday, organised in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) units of the University College Mangaluru and Mangalore University.
Students and teachers of UG and various PG disciplines of the University College Mangaluru and University Evening College received their first dose of vaccine against Covid-19. A total of more than 1200 people have been vaccinated in the two camps held in the college.
Principal Dr Anasuya Rai, Mangalore University Red Cross Nodal Officer Dr Ganapathi Gowda, Mangalore University NSS Nodal Officer Dr Nagarathna K A, NSS officers of the college Dr Gayathri and Dr Suresh, Youth Red Cross Program Officer Dr Kumaraswamy M were present among others during the camp.
