The cultural programme was presented by the students of Classes X and XII and III A and B. The programme began with the lighting of the diyas and invocation.
Through their words, feelings and emotions the students gave a warm welcome to the entire Carmelite family assembled in the school auditorium. Through their awesome performance, the dancers were a treat to the eyes.
A skit on the importance of the day was narrated and dramatised by the students. The story of St. Simon Stock receiving the scapular was enacted.
A group of performers danced to the tune of “Pure as Carmel”, honouring Mother Mary, Queen of Carmel. A thrilling dance of celebration was performed by the students which left the crowd foot tapping and enchanted.

The Holy Mass held in honour of our Lady of Mount Carmel was attended by the Catholic students and staff. The choir, with the singers and musicians was very meaningful and melodious that it took all to Mt. Carmel in Palestine. During the Eucharistic celebration, a few students were initiated into the Carmel Blossom family. The blessed scapulars were distributed to all the Catholics after Mass.
