Mangaluru/Bengaluru: Muhammed Asif, Embryologist in Prime Care Multispecialty Hospital, Frazer Town, Bengaluru has been awarded the PhD degree by the Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru for his thesis “A study on Dermatoglyphic Trait, ABO/RH Blood Groups and common genetic variants associated with Myocardial Infarction.”
The research work was guided by Dr. Shivarama Bhat, Professor of Anatomy, Yenepoya Medical College, Dr. M S Mustak, Associate Professor of Genetics, Mangaluru University and Dr. Subramanyam K, Professor of Cardiology, KSHEMA. The research findings have been presented and presented in national and international level conferences and journals.
