Mangaluru: Speaking on the occasion of National Engineers’ Day, National Highway Authority of India Project Director Shishi Mohan said that Engineering as a field is very vast and only if students enhance various skills do they stand a chance to get opportunities.
He was speaking as a chief guest at the National Engineers’ Day celebration held at Alva’s Institute of Engineering & Technology, Mijar here. In nation-building engineers’ contribution is immense. he called on students to take part in the various workshops and thus increase their practical knowledge.On the occasion, prizes were distributed to winners of various competitions held to mark Engineers’ Day. Principal Dr Peter Fernandes, Alva’s College Management Trustee Vivek Alva and various department heads were present.
