Mangaluru: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), P A College of Engineering (PACE) in association with Foodie14 launched the website foodie14.com. The website was launched by P A Abdulla Ibrahim, Executive Director of the P A Educational Trust on February 6 at the Multipurpose Hall. The website was designed and developed by the second year students of the Department of CSE, PACE, Mangaluru.
Foodie14 is an online food shopping website that provides a platform for home food providers to cater to a wider customer base and hence, expand their business. Currently, there are more than 100 products that customers can choose from and order. Registrations are still open. The website may be visited for more details. The Foodie14 team comprises of Mohammed Irfan M A, Saiful Aseem Abdul Khader, Hasir Abdulla, Rumais Abdulla, Department of CSE, PACE, Mangaluru along with Jafin Hassan B H of GEC, Wayanad and Mohammed Hisham, SIMS, Mangaluru. A report on mobile apps developed by Department of CSE, PACE students from 2014 to 2018 was presented by Dr. Sharmila Kumari, HoD, Department of CSE.
The website was launched in the presence of Dr. Abdul Sharief (Principal, PACE), Dr. Sarfaraz Hasim (Director, Academics), Dr. Sharmila Kumari (HoD, CS Dept), officials of Foodie14, staff members and students.
