Mysuru: Podar International school organised a walkathon on March 4 to create an awareness about the significance of righteousness through the theme “Be good Do Good.”
Around 300 students along with the staff highlighted the importance of nurturing goodness within oneself to build a virtuous society and contribute towards humanitarian values. The fabulous display of placards and an impressive mime show attracted and inspired the public who witnessed this “Parivarthan Drive” by the Podarites.
The walkathon was flagged off by Rajgopal, SI, Vijayanagar Police Station.
Under the dynamic leadership of Principal Krishna Bangera, Vice Principal Sunita Dugal, supported by the teachers, parents and non teaching staff. School events coordinators Vijaya, Poonam and administrative officers Shivswamy and Pinto played a pivotal role in organising the event efficiently.
