Mangaluru: The Annual Special NSS Camp of the School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya, was inaugurated on Wednesday, November 14 at 4.30 PM at the Aloysian Boys’ home Someshwara. The camp will be held for 7 days.
Inaugurating the programme, Rector of St Aloysius Educational Institutions, Mangaluru, Rev Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ said, “The youth are the real change makers and can bring about a great change in society.”
Principal of the College, Dr Jenis Mary Vice presided over the function. Ullal Municipal Commissioner Vani V Alva was the chief guest of the programme.
In her address, the chief guest, Vani Alva said that she was happy that the NSS unit will be working with the Ullal municipal council.
NSS Office, Prof. Cecilia F Goveas welcomed the gathering and Asst. NSS Officer Sandeep U proposed the vote of thanks.
