Mangaluru: Saanidhya Residential School and Training Centre for Mentally Challenged will be organizing ‘Vision – 2019’, an art and craft exhibition along with ‘Saanidhya Utsav’ a cultural programme, here on March 9 and 10.
The programme venue is Kadri Park.
‘Vision – 2019’ art and craft exhibition will be inaugurated on March 9 at 5.30 PM by Dr. Bharath Raj, Pediatrician and Guest of Honour will be Rev Sr M. Shamita A C, Principal St. Agnes P U College.
‘Saanidhya Utsav’ will be inaugurated on March 10 at 5.30 PM by Dr. Mohan Alva, Chairman, Alva’s Education Trust and will be presided by Abdulla Monu Moidin, Karnataka Muslim Cultural Association Qatar (Head of Advisory Panel and Immediate Past President). The Guest of Honour will be Ravi Shetty, Managing Director, Advanced Technical Services Co. W L L, Associated Technical Services Co. W L L Doha – Qatar.
During the ‘Saanidhya Utsav’ cultural programme ‘Seethapaharana Jatayu Moksha’ Yakshagana will be on display which is directed by Sharath Kumar Kadri and co-directed by Sucheth Kumar and Deekshith.
The drama titled ‘Onake Obavva’ will also be on display which is directed by Dr. Vasanth Kumar Shetty.
There will also be a felicitation programme in which U C Paulose, Founder of Sein Ashram Trust ®, Gandhibagilu, Belthangady, H V Gopalappa, Hon. Secretary, Shree Vinayaka Education Society, Davangere, Chandrashekhar, Proprietor, Varsha Sounds and Event Management, Shakthinagar, Mangaluru, and Puttur Devaraj Hegde, Yakshagana Artist will be felicitated.
Students of the school namely Prajawal Lobo and Abhilash are selected for “2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games” which will be held at Abu Dhabi, UAE.
