Mangaluru: Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Social Work, St Aloysius College, Shwetha Rasquinha has been awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree by the Mangalore University for her thesis titled “Effectiveness of Social work intervention on caretakers of cancer patients- A social work study in Mangalore”.
Shwetha completed the degree under the guidance of Dr Rameela Shekhar, Professor (Rtd), School of Social work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangaluru.
Hailing from Vittal, Shwetha is the daughter of Vincent Rasquinha and Late Regina Rasquinha. She is also the second person from the Vittal Parish to complete their doctoral studies.
SAC has congratulated Shwetha for her achievement in academics and for her successful completion of quality research.
