SAC holds Professional Day Eccelenza Valedictory

Mangaluru: The Department of Commerce (Professional), St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangalore, in association with ISDC, KVC Academy and KCCI organised Professional Day and the Valedictory of “Eccelenza – Momentum of Excellence” recently in Eric Mathias Hall of the College.

Dr Nilanjan Chattopadhyay, Dean, School of Management, Bennett University and Representative of ISDC; M Ganesh Kamath, President, KCCI and CA Ananth Shenoy, Chartered Accountant were the Chief Guests. Mytreya, COO, KCCI was the guest of honour. Rev. Dr Praveen Martis, SJ, Principal of the College presided over the programme. 

Dr Alwyn D’Sa, Registrar & Controller of Examination; Dr Zeena Flavia D’Souza, HOD of Commerce (Professional); Dr Swathi Bhat, Convenor, CA Kiran Vasanth, KVC Academy,  Moideen Adnan, Student Convenor were on the dais.

Dr Nilanjan spoke on the opportunities and challenges faced by students in the corporate world. He said that students should come out of their comfort zone to achieve something in life. He also suggested the students use tools and techniques in their professional life. 

Ganesh Kamath spoke on GST and advised the students to learn the theory of GST. He said that there are so many avenues in the corporate field for students to open up.

CA Kiran Vasanth spoke on how to become a successful entrepreneur and advised the students to become entrepreneurs instead of working under somebody else. 

Michelle Lenita compered the programme. Dr Zeena Flavia DSouza welcomed the gathering. 

During the programme, the valedictory of “Eccelenza – Momentum of Excellence” was held.
