Mangaluru: St Aloysius College (Autonomous) Mangaluru, keeping with the long-established tradition, will observe the Constitution Week from January 21 to 25.
As a part of the event, the College has organised several programmes for its students. Competitions such as clay modelling, pick and speak, creative art, essay and quiz will be held during the week. Unique events like, “Reading of the Constitution” by former judge of the Karnataka High Court Justice H N Nagmohandas, mock Parliament, a workshop on the Constitution and a district level quiz have also been planned.
As the main event, the College has also organised a lecture titled ‘Achievements of the Republic of India and Challenges Ahead’ by eminent jurist Justice H N Nagmohandas (who presently leads a “Reading the Constitution Movement in Karnataka” mission), on January 22 at 3 PM for the general public at the LCRI auditorium in the campus.
