Mangaluru: The 69th anniversary of the Republic Day was celebrated in the Sahyadri Campus with the hoisting of the National Flag by Colonel M A Rajmannar, Director, Army Recruitment Office, Kulur. M J Augustin was the chief guest of the occasion. Colonel M A Rajmannar thanked the management for having invited him to the Republic Day celebrations and conveyed his best wishes to all.
The formal flag hoisting came to an end with the recitation of Bankim Chandra Chatterjee’s, “Vande Mataram.” It was followed by the Staff Sports Day organised by the Department of Physical Education.
