Mangaluru: Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, Students participated in Girls weight lifting and their team emerged as runners-up in the 23rd VTU Inter-Collegiate State level Weightlifting Championship held at Vemana Institute of Technology, Bengaluru on 1 and 2 Sep 2023.
The Medal Winners were:
1. Arya B S, 2nd-semester MBA Sahyadri College – Gold medal in 71 kg Category
2. Diya H Shetty, 2nd-semester E and C Sahyadri College – Silver medal in 81kg category
Gold Medallist Arya B S, 2nd semester MBA will represent VTU in the All India Inter-University Weight Lifting Competition.
