Mangaluru: As many as two projects submitted by Sahyadri College were awarded “Best Project of the Year” for the year 2018-19 in the 42nd Series of Karnataka State Council for Science & Technology (KSCST) Seminar & Exhibition of Student Project Programme. The event was held at KLE Dr. M.S. Sheshgiri College of Engineering and Technology, Belagavi.
The winning projects’ details are as follows:
Project 1: “Dream Kit-Internet of Things Based Hardware Modular Kit for Easy Prototyping” – Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management. The project was prepared by Aashish U S, Deekshith, Khadeejath Jasna and Prajna K. The project guide was Savidhan Shetty C S.
Project 2: “A Multi Objective Transit Trip Itinerary Planning System using GIS for Mangalore City” – Department of Civil Engineering, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management. The project was prepared by Rajmunni Hombal, Greeshma Chandran, Mohammed Mustafa and Zainab Thanseeha. The project guide was Chethan Kumar T.
