The PGCM program was launched during the Silver Jubilee Celebration of the institute in 2019 which is designed for industry readiness and professional growth in the corporate world.

Dr D. Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala, Chairman of SDMIMD

The Chairman of SDMIMD, Dr D. Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala, awarded the PGCM certificates to the three eligible candidates of PGCM 2020-21 batch –  Chirag Chengappa, Mr Guruprasad Shreedhar Hegde and  Suraj S.  Guruprasad Shreedhar Hegde received a Gold medal for his Best Overall Performance from Dr D. Veerendra Heggade.

In his Convocation address, Dr D. SDMIMD signs MOU For Academic Enhancement with TCS: The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the Educational Partnership was exchanged by Dr N.R. Parasuraman, Director, SDMIMD and Sri. Ravindra Kembhavi, Head Sales and Chief Education Evangelist, TCSiON, in the presence of Dr D. Veerendra Heggade, Chairman on Friday, December 17, 2021, at 11:30 AM in the SDMIMD Auditorium situated in the institute.

In his address, Dr D. Veerendra Heggade expressed the view that the timing of this arrangement with TCS is very appropriate. In its growth phase, SDMIMD can make use of the expertise and strengths of TCS and work towards the development of overall managerial awareness and exposure to our students. Another laudable feature of the initiative is that this facility is open to all our students starting from this year. This means that regardless of their intended specializations, they will stand to gain the practical touch from TCS. Coupled with their existing use of our Dharmasthala ethos and practices, the results are bound to be of great value to the corporate and business community.

Dr Heggade stressed that in this era when the content of higher education curriculum and teaching methods are matters of wide debate, practical exposures and value-added support from corporate bodies will always be welcome. TCS is a world-renowned organization with a high quality of professional practices. Students must seize this great opportunity being given to them and work hard to make themselves rounded individuals.

In his address, Mr Ravindra Kembhavi, Head Sales and Chief Education Evangelist, TCSiON stated that this program focuses on bringing industry experts to add value. He urged students to ask more questions and get involved as more questions give more energy. The learning helps students to understand the expectations of the corporate world.
