Mangaluru: With the aim to combat the deadly disease Dengue, St. Agnes CBSE School, Bendore, Mangaluru, organized a special Dengue Awareness Programme on 20th August 2019. Dr. Archana Bhat, an Associate Professor of the Department of Medicine at Fr. Muller’s Medical College, Mangaluru, was the resource person. She conducted a seminar to acquaint the students and teachers about the symptoms, preventive and remedial measures of Dengue, thereby encouraging the students to spread awareness about the disease among the masses. It was followed by an interactive session where children clarified their doubts.
Overall the seminar was informative and very effective affirming the belief that we can make a difference in our own little way.
