Mangaluru: Final-year BBA students of St Agnes College visited the Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat Government Higher Primary School in Hosabettu, where they conducted English classes for school students up to the 7th standard.
The objective of these classes was to help the higher primary school students enhance their English speaking skills. The school pupils were divided into groups and two BBA students were allotted to each group. They were taught using creative methods such as English language action songs.
By the end of the session, all the students were able to confidently introduce themselves to an audience in English. Additionally, they also learnt several new English words and were taught to fluently converse in the language. Nearly 54 primary students participated in this exercise.
