St Agnes PU College holds alumni meet Agnosphere

Mangaluru: “When friends meet, hearts warm.” – John Ray The much-anticipated Alumni Meet – AGNOSPHERE with the theme “Color Splash” was held at St Agnes PU College on July 22 2023. The event aimed to bring together Agnesians, creating an atmosphere of nostalgia and camaraderie as they revisited their alma mater. The vibrant theme “Color Splash” promised an evening filled with exuberance, enthusiasm, and cherished memories.

The Alumni Meet commenced with a heart-warming prayer song video, setting a reflective and spiritual tone for the day’s proceedings. Prathiksha and her group welcomed the audience with an enchanting dance performance. The alumni were warmly welcomed and addressed by the college’s esteemed Principal, Sr Norine D’Souza, who expressed her gratitude for their presence, emphasizing the significance of staying connected with their alma mater. On this occasion Principal felicitated Mrs Suvasini, Lecturer, Department of Biology for being instrumental in establishing Agnosphere – The Alumni association and for shouldering the responsibility of uniting alumni across the globe.

The event featured mesmerizing dance performances by the Agnesians that delighted the audience. Yoshitha and her team set the stage on fire with their synchronized moves, followed by an energetic performance by Bhoomika and her group. Trisha Shetty mesmerized the audience with her captivating solo performance, showcasing her exceptional dancing skills. Jennifer and Sharal Sequeira the talented sisters, delivered a melodious rendition of a popular western song, leaving the audience in awe of their musical talents. A soul-stirring video on the theme ‘Throwback of College days’ was presented by crafting the cherished photos captured during college days.

Creative photo booths were thoughtfully set up to provide the alumni with an opportunity to capture vivid moments. The vibrant and colourful decorations in the auditorium provided the perfect backdrop for these picture-perfect moments.

As a cherished tradition of reunion, batch-wise photographs were clicked, preserving memories of the event and symbolizing the unity and strength of the alumni association.

This event was meticulously planned by the Agnosphere core committee headed by the convenor Mrs Venitia Rasquinha. It was witnessed by the Vice-principal, Sr Janet Sequeira, teaching and support staff and a large crowd of vibrant and energetic alumni. Privy D’Souza compered the event while Caldrida D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks.

The Alumni Meet “Color Splash” was undoubtedly a memorable and enjoyable event. Agnesians from different batches rekindled old friendships, shared fond memories, and celebrated their connection with the college. The successful gathering reaffirmed the strong bond between the institution and its former students, ensuring that the spirit of St Agnes PU College continues to thrive for generations to come.
