Mangaluru: An awareness regarding the constitution Constitution program was organized on 27th January 2020 at St Aloysius I.T.I Auditorium.
The program commenced by briefly giving a message on the constitution by Rev. Fr. Cyril D’Mello SJ, Director. Later, Mr. Roshan D’Souza, principal welcomed the guest Rev.Fr. Francis Assissi D’Almeida, Director Sandesha, Mangaluru. Mr. Alwyn Menezes, Vice-principal, Neol Lobo, Training Officer were present on the dais.
On this occasion, guests of the day gave a talk on the Constitution of India. The constitution of India is the supreme law of India. The document lays down the framework demarcating fundamental political code, structure, procedures, powers, and duties of government institutions and set out fundamental rights, directive principles, and the duties of citizens. Three branches of constitution are executive, legislative and judiciary. The constitution declares India a Sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic republic, assuring its citizens’ justice, equality and liberty were present in the preamble. He also gave a piece of brief information on CAA( citizen Amendment act), NRC( National Register citizen) and NPR(Nation Population Register).
Mr. Noel Lobo, Training Officer proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Robin Vas, Junior Training Officer compered the program.
The program concluded with the National Anthem.
