Mangaluru: St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Mangaluru, was awarded an amount of Rs One Lakh as VTU Institutional Cash Award for Sports and Cultural Achievements for the year 2017-18. The award was given by the Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, during Felicitation Function of VTU Sports Achievers held at Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, on 19 October 2019.
The award which is a testimony to the achievements of St Joseph Engineering College at various VTU Level Sports and Cultural events was received by Dr. Rio D’Souza, Principal of SJEC and Ms. Vaneesha Rodrigues, Assistant Physical Education Director of the college.
