Mysuru: The Department of Instrumentation Technology, GSSSIETW, Mysuru organized a Technical talk on ‘Neural Network and its Applications’ for the students of 8th semester Instrumentation Technology recently under Instrument Society of India (ISOI) Student Chapter. The resource person for the technical talk was Dr. S Raviraja, Founder Chairman, Royal Research Foundation, India.
During the talk, Dr. S Raviraja gave a brief explanation about Artificial Intelligence and Neural Networks. He illustrated about Neural Network with examples of Artificial life, Smart cars using sensors, Washing Machine principle using fuzzy logic, Scientific predictions for High speed rails, making of ship against wind, usage of computers in home, 32-bit operating systems, memory demand is limited, e-commerce Improved internet, RFID/GPS tracking, Super computers, intelligent fabrics, AI used as classroom assistants, mood sensitive home décor, Game planning, Google news, I-phone, Robotics, Face recognition, Medicine diagnosis, simple neuron, back propagation algorithm, multi layer feed forward artificial neural network.
He advised the students to involve in the research field of Neural networks and Artificial intelligence for improving the technical knowledge & skills. During the session, he highlighted about Artificial intelligence with practical examples and videos.
