Tumakuru: Prof. Y. S. Siddegowda, Vice Chancellor of Tumkur University, will launch new books called “Kala na…!” and “Hadiharayadavara Nitya Gondalagala Guttu” at Tumkur University on Thursday December 30.
The books are published by S.L.N Publication, Bengaluru. Written by Dr. Priyanka M. G., Assistant Professor, Department of English, Tumkur University Science Degree College.
“Kala na…! features has 17 packed chapters. It talks about various contemporary issues as well as sensational real life problems. Also most of the chapters has been published as columns in various Kannada State news papers and Social media. People of Karnataka and Kannadigas from other countries admired the way they were written and the selection of the topics. They are highly educational as well as inspiring.
Another book “Hadiharayadavara Nitya Gondalagala Guttu” which focuses on social problems where teens struggle with everyday problems like depression, bullying, sexual harassment/activities, peer pressure, social media, also discusses about how parents can talk and handle their teens.
These are the second and third books authrored by Dr. Priyanka.
