Moodbidri: The Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) has conferred the doctorate award on Prof. Manjunath Kothari of Alva’s College of Engineering (AIET) during its 17th annual convocation, held recently.
Prof. Kothari, Head of Computer Science & Engineering department at AIET, Moodbidri received the doctorate degree for his presentation on “Formulation of a framework for security mechanism in the context of adaptive distributive systems.”
An engineering graduate in Computer Science & Engineering, with a masters degree Prof. Kothari has research interests in the field of Distributed Systems & Security, Computer Networks and Computer Architecture/CAD for VLSI.
With an academic experience spanning over 16 years and research experience of 5 years, Prof. Kothari has presented over 15 technical papers in national and international journals till date.
