Mangaluru: Renowned Kannada writer and translator from Mumbai Shyamala Madhav will deliver a lecture in the Through My Window … series programme of Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi, being organised by the Konkani Writers and Artists Association. She will speak on the life and contributions of her great grandfather Late Sardar Uchila Aloysius Kannapa – eminent writer, scholar and publisher to language, literature and culture.
The programme will begin at 3.30 p.m. on Sept 2, at Gelge Hall, St Aloysius College, Mangalore and Rev Dr Praveen Martis, Principal, St. Aloysius College will inaugurate the session. Executive Council Member of Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi and Poet Melvyn Rodrigues will be present.
