Mangaluru: The Department of Physiology at Yenepoya Medical College organised a state-level physiology working model competition- “Homeostasis-2019” for undergraduate medical and dental students on April 4.
First year MBBS/BDS students from 11 medical/dental colleges from Karnataka participated in this event.
First year MBBS students from Srinivas Institute of Medical Science, Mangaluru bagged the first prize. Kanachur Institute of Medical Science, Mangaluru won the second prize and J.N.M.C. Medical college, Belagavi was placed third. Consolation prizes were awarded to Srinivas Institute of Medical Science and A.J. Institute of Medical Science, Mangaluru.
