Mangaluru: The Yenepoya Dental College and Kannur Dental College had signed an MOU for Mutual Understanding and Development in both Academic and administrative areas. The MOU was signed by Dr Laxmikanth Chatra Principal Yenepoya Dental College, and Dr Arun Narayanan, Principal, of Kannur Dental College, Anjarakandy Integrated Campus, Anjarakandy, Kannur.
Dean Faculty of Dentistry Dr Sham S Bhat, Vice Principal Dr Hasan Sarfaraz, Cordinator Yenepoya Dental Education unit, Dr Imran Pasha M, Dr Mohammed Feroz. T.P., Professor in Periodontology and Heads of the Department of Yenepoya Dental College were present.
The MOU will allow for a joint venture in various academic and administrative activities between the Colleges.
Co-ordinator Yenepoya Dental Education unit, Reader Department of Public Health Dentistry Dr Imran Pasha M and Dr Mohammed Feroz. T.P., Professor in Periodontology will be the liasoning persons for the MOU.
The MOU Ceremony was followed by the Faculty Development Program organised by the Yenepoya Dental Education Unit, faculty from both colleges attended the Guest lecture. Dr Vidya Bhat, Professor Department of Prosthodontics delivered the talk on Problem Based Learning.
