Moodabidri(Mangaluru): The student association Yen-Artificia in association with the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning department of Yenepoya Institute of Technology has organized the National Level Hackathon Unscramble 2.0. The event was coordinated by Shadil Ebrahim, Ahamed Ashiq and Shanawaz,
The Hackathon had a spectacular inauguration graced by Lakshmi Shetty, Campus Relationship Manager at Robosoft Technologies Pvt Ltd, Udupi as Chief Guest.
Dr R.G. D’Souza, Principal of YIT, warmly welcomed Lakshmi Shetty with a floral gesture at the commencement. From more than 85 registered teams, the selection committee selected the best 20 teams. Students from various states actively participated in the event.
Key figures from the institute, including Prof. Mohammed Siraj, Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, actively participated in the inauguration. Prof. Prasanna Kumar, the Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML), attended. The Campus Administrative Officer, Mohammad Shahid, presented a memento to the Chief Guest Laxmi Shetty.
The symbolic initiation of the event came with the ceremony of lighting the lamp. The Chief Guest provided motivational insights, and Dr R.G D’Souza delivered a visionary address. Prof. Ramya A efficiently coordinated the proceedings, ensuring a seamless flow of events.
A second-year student from AIML, MC Afeef Ismail, skillfully led the proceedings, with Ameeza introducing the esteemed Chief Guest. Simrah accompanied by Aysha, delivered the annual report of Yen-Artificia, shedding light on the department’s achievements and milestones in the field of technology.
The inauguration was graced by HODs of various departments, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and AIML students. Afeef concluded the inauguration with a heartfelt vote of thanks, full of gratitude to all participants, sponsors, and organizers who have contributed to the success of this momentous event. As participants delved into the hackathon, the atmosphere was charged with creativity and enthusiasm reflecting the institute’s commitment to fostering technological excellence.
