Belthangady: Children’s day was celebrated on 13th November at Holy Redeemer English Medium School Belthangady. Rev. Fr Ronson Pinto, Asst Parish Priest of Bendur Church was the chief guest for the program. He distributed prizes to the winners of the lucky game and online competition conducted on the occasion of children’s day.
Students who have secured distinction in the SSLC Examination of 2020-21 were honoured by Rev. Fr Joseph Cardoza, correspondent of Holy Redeemer English Medium school.
Rev. Fr Clifford Pinto, principal of Holy Redeemer Eng Med School, Deacon Jonson Pereira, Belthangady Church, Pauline Rego, Secretary of Parish Pastoral council, Walter Monis, Vice-President and Sharmila Moras, Secretary of Parents Teachers Association (PTA), Lancy Pereira, Coordinator of pastoral commissions were present on the dais.
Teachers entertained the students through drama, dance and wishing songs. Blendin Rodrigues delivered a speech on the significance of children day. Akida Banu welcomed the gathering, Vinita Anjali Moras delivered the Vote of Thanks and Divya compered the program. Refreshment was served to all the children at end of the program.
