Mangaluru : ICYM Bantwal Deanery in collaboration with ICYM Bantwal unit organised ‘Yuva Sambram 2K18’, a deanery level programme for the youth on 12 August 2018 at Anugraha Church Hall, Modankap.
The programme started with a prayer song. Fr Maxim Noronha, parish priest of Bantwal Church inaugurated the programme by lighting a lamp. Fr Kiran Pinto, ICYM Director Bantwal deanery, Fr Nelson Almeida, resource person for the day, Sr Supriya, Superior Carmel Convent Modankap, Richard DSouza, Secretary Bantwal Church, Joel Fernandes, Treasurer ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Calwin, President ICYM Bantwal deanery, Minol, Secretary, ICYM Bantwal deanery were present.
The morning session was conducted by Fr Nelson Almeida on the topic ‘Media and the Youth’. The afternoon session was packed with action songs led by Fr Ashwin Crasta, assistant parish priest, Bantwal Church. ICYM Mangalore Diocese Central Council members conducted various fun filled activities for the youth.
The programme concluded with a message from Fr Ashwin Cardoza, Assistant Director, ICYM Mangalore Diocese. Around 160 youth participated in this event.
