BR Project: Covid 19 has created unprecedented situations. The Lions Club members should come forward to help the people in distress amid the pandemic said the incumbent district governor of Lions Club (Lions District 317C) HN Shivakumar.
Speaking at the installation ceremony of office bearers of Lions Club Lake City- B.R project (District 317C Region 7 Zone 2) at KPC Rangmandir on Wednesday, August 4, he said, “Everyone needs to be involved in service activities to understand the meaning of life. Lions Club provides the perfect platform for this,” he added.
Speaking on this occasion Mahesh P, newly appointed president of Lake City BR Project of Lions Club said, ” This year the Lions Club will try to organize a large number of ophthalmology, dental, cardiovascular and camp programmes.”
He added, “Our aim was to identify the poor and working-class who were affected by the Covid 19 locally and stand by them.”
Former president HL Ramesh, Secretary Swaroop Jain, Treasurer Tammanna JB handed over the authority to President Mahesh P, Secretary Tammanna JB, and treasurer Aravind GM. The members of the Lions Club were present on the occasion.
