Mangaluru: A group of energetic and committed youth, who have spent years playing cricket together for fun in the evenings, have realised that now is the time to play for a better cause.
With the aim to give financial support to the charitable trust “Humanity”, responsible for thousand of smiles, the youth from Bantwal (Modankap) have decided to organise a cricket tournament “Humanity Cup 2k18” with the guidance of Roshan from Belman, the founder of the trust.
Humanity Trust was started in May 2017. It is a non-government organisation which helps the poor and needy regardless of religion. So far, Humanity has completed more than 230 projects and donated nearly Rs 2 crore to the needy.
