Mumbai: Lal Goel Chairman of Organ Donation India Foundation & GYAN was awarded the prestigious Saidham CSR award for his immense contribution to Healthcare Sector.
Lal Goel thanked Dr Swapnil Mane founder & CEO of Dr Mane Medical Foundation & Research Centre, Rahuri and Rtn Archana Sharma renowned philanthropist & trustee of Saidham Hospital Shirdi for awarding him.
Goel applauded the selfless services of Dr Mane. He said it’s not easy to start a 500 bed Cancer Hospital in a small village as all the big Cancer Hospitals are situated in metros or big cities. He further said that CSR can play a very important role in such types of Charitable Projects.
Dr Swapnil Mane explained his journey from Mumbai to Shirdi and setting up Saidham Hospital. Dr Mane gave details of the proposed 500 bed Saidham Cancer Hospital which will be constructed on a 1.5 lakh square feet area with state of art facilities.
Dr Swapnil Lale, Director of Health Services Govt of Maharashtra, Padma Shri Dr Mukesh Batra, Founder & Chairman of Dr Batra’s group of companies, Dr Vaibhav R Deogirkar, Medical Director of H J Doshi GHS Hospital, Ketan S Mehta, Director KSM Securities & Finance Pvt Ltd, Amol Unde Managing Director & Co-Founder Accrescent Global Services were also awarded amongst others by Dr Swapnil Mane.
Rtn Archana Sharma thanked & appealed to all the dignitaries to join hands for the Mission of making Cancer Free India by setting up Saidham Cancer Hospital at Shirdi, which will provide world-class services free of cost to all the needy and poor patients from all over India.
The program was held at MCA Club, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai.
