Mangaluru: Amid the pandemic, renowned photographer Vivek Gowda and the team have distributed food to 475 needy families. The food kits distributed to the families had 12 essential grocery items with 20-25 KG rice bag.
“We have reached the people living in the remote areas through boats, by walk. Apart from this, we have also fed stay dogs, eagles, pigeons, crows, etc amid the lockdown,” he said.
Expressing gratitude towards donors he said, “Our friends working in other states, people from abroad have helped us by giving donations which helped us to continue to serve the people in distress amid Covid induced lockdown.
He Thanked Dinesh Holla, Shivani Mangaluru, Cristy Victoria, Sukanya NR, Suraj Mangaluru, Avinash Shishila, Sachin Mundaje, Raju of the forest department, Ajay, Rakesh, and Arjun for their constant support in continuing this noble initiative.
