Rotary Club hands over infrastructure worth Rs 1.3 lakh to Badagabelluru School

Mangaluru: As a commemoration of the centenary year of Badagabelluru Aided Higher Primary School, for one of the classrooms out of three classrooms, Rotary Club, Bantwal under the leadership of K Narayan Hegde provided 1.3 lakh worth furniture. And these infrastructures were handed over to the school on Tuesday June 30.

Rotary Club, Bantwal former president and Appointed District Governor Prakash Karanth Narikombu, Secretary Vani Prakash Karanth, School Centenary Building Construction Committee President Rameshchandra Bhandary, School Convenor K. Narendranath Bhandary and School Headmaster Keshav Naik were present.

School Convenor Narendranath Bhandary welcomed the guest and briefed about the programme. Prakash Karanth inaugurated the programme and handed over the infrastructure sponsored by the Rotary Club. He assured the school authorities that further assistance in future would be provided too.

Speaking on the occasion, Retired Headmaster of the school Sankappa Shetty highlighted the developments in the school.

Rotary Club representatives were handed over a memento as a token of gratitude on behalf of the school.

Headmaster Keshav Naik proposed the vote of thanks. Retired teacher of the institute Gangadhar Rai, Building Committee Vice President Dayanand Mudubettu, Old Students’ Association President Sachindranath Rai, and School Supervisory Committe/SDMC President Gunavathi were present.
